Positions

Inspector
[Open - accepting immediate applications]

Full-time. Regular hours, some fluctuation. Travel up to 75% required. Salary is up to $50k, commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunities. Competitive family health benefits and 401k matching.

If you enjoy - and can commit to - regular travel across the US, and if you have a keen attention to detail and comfortable being on your feet, then being a Property Inspector may be your next career! The position supports an Inspections Department that is committed to walking onsite at multifamily housing properties for the purpose of measuring compliance with building codes, health and safety responsibilities, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations.

You are supported:

  • Fully paid, upfront training (no specific experience is required)
  • All expenses are pre-paid (accommodation, meals, rental cars, flights, etc.)
  • Being employed with one of the most reputable, recognized companies in multifamily housing: Zeffert & Associates, Inc.

You are a project manager, responsible for the planning, scheduling, and quality analysis of property inspections. The Inspector will be trained with thorough knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing, and the Housing and Urban Development's Real Estate Assessment Center program and regulations.


Compliance Specialist

Fulltime. Telecommute and remote eligible.  Regular hours, some fluctuation.
Potential travel opportunities.

This position is an expert auditor for resident file reviews to determine move-in eligibility according to respective funding restrictions such as LIHTC, HUD, RD, and HOME.  Most commonly, audits are conducted electronically via a secured web-based portal.  Some Compliance Specialists travel to conduct audits on premises at the client's location, depending on skillset and interest.  Attention to detail, time management and decision making skills are important traits to be successful.

Zeffert & Associates provides all full time, eligible Associates with a comprehensive and very competitive benefits package.  Medical, vision, and dental insurance options begin on the first full month of employment.  Three weeks of paid time off start accruing on day one.  Retirement plans (401k) are offered (and encouraged) to all Associates and feature employer matching.  Telecommuting arrangements are available for most Associates, including up to 100% options.  There are optional elections available as well that may be chosen by any Associate.  Part time employees are eligible for some benefits, too.  All benefits and eligibility requirements are reviewed at least annually and are subject to change.  On top of these benefits, maintaining a fun, high-spirited work environmental is considered essential.  Holidays, Pep Rallies, and other events throughout the year are a staple.
