The position supports an Inspections Department that is committed to walking onsite at multifamily housing properties for the purpose of measuring compliance with building codes, health and safety responsibilities, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations.

You are a project manager, responsible for the planning, scheduling, and quality analysis of property inspections. The Inspector will be trained with thorough knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing, and the Housing and Urban Development's Real Estate Assessment Center program and regulations.

Potential travel opportunities.
This position is an expert auditor for resident file reviews to determine move-in eligibility according to respective funding restrictions such as LIHTC, HUD, RD, and HOME. Most commonly, audits are conducted electronically via a secured web-based portal. Some Compliance Specialists travel to conduct audits on premises at the client's location, depending on skillset and interest. Attention to detail, time management and decision making skills are important traits to be successful.
