Yes! We do welcome walk-ins. Our in person and virtual classes do sell out though so do what you can to register ahead of time to be sure you reserve a spot and a manual.  Walk-in registrants will be accepted on a space and training material-available basis only. 

Once you register on our website, you will receive an auto-email with your payment receipt. If you register for a webinar or live virtual class, you will receive an email from our Training Manager one week prior to the class with login details and your manual. If you register for an in person class just be sure you have a copy of the agenda that shows the dates, location and timing of the class. You can find the agenda on the registration page of the class. 

Registration fees are refundable based on the following schedule:

Live Training: 

• No less than 60 days prior to event: Full Refund
• Up to day 59 prior to event: Full Refund, less a $50 administration fee.
• Less than 30 days prior to event: No Refund, receive a credit held up to one year

• If notice of cancellation is received in the first 48 hours of purchase: Full Refund
• If notice of cancellation is received in the first 48 hours of purchase but the class has been started: No Refund
• If notice of cancellation is received after 48 hours of purchase: No refund; funds can be applied to other staff or training; credit held up to one year

Substitute personnel or credits toward future Zeffert & Associates trainings are allowed for up to one year.

Private training events that are canceled by the client will receive a credit up to one year.

There are times we have had to cancel training events due to instances out of our control. Most of the time the class will be rescheduled to a later date. We provide every opportunity to our students to attend the rescheduled date or transfer to a later class. You will also have the opportunity to hold your payment as a credit for up to one year to give you time to decide what future dates work best for you. Otherwise, a full refund of the registration fee will be awarded. Although a full refund of the registration fee can be made, Zeffert & Associates is not responsible for other costs incurred, such as nonrefundable airline tickets, travel expenses, etc.

If the class is in person, we will list the location of the class on the registration page. Our classes are typically at hotels so you can book your stay in the same place as the training. There are times our classes are not at a hotel though. Feel free to reach out to our Training Manager, Mandi Lewis mlewis@zeffert.com for hotel suggestions. Hotel accommodations are not included in the registration fee. We are not endorsing the hotel. Participants should make arrangements directly.

Our live virtual or in person class, Mastering LIHTC Compliance prepares you for the Housing Credit Certified Professional "HCCP" designation exam. This is a nationally recognized exam provided by the National Association of Home Builders "NAHB". This is a closed book, 75 question, multiple choice exam. This exam can be taken in person or online. Once you pass your HCCP exam, you will apply for the designation through NAHB to receive your HCCP plaque.

For our Rural Development, HUD, HOME Funds and courses, we offer our proprietary Housing Compliance Manager "HCM" designation exams. These exams are available to take online and were developed by our own content experts. 

Our live virtual or in person class, Mastering the Rural Development program prepares you for our HCM-R designation exam. This exam is an open book, 100 question, multiple choice exam. A score of 67% is required to pass and you will have 3 hours to take it. Our Essentials of Rural Development eLearning classes A through F, also prepare you for this exam.

Our eLearning course, Essentials of HUD, classes A through F prepare you for our HCM-H designation exam. This exam is an open book, 100 question, multiple choice exam. A score of 67% is required to pass and you will have 3 hours to take it. 

Our eLearning course, Essentials of HOME Funds class prepares you for our HCM-HF designation exam. This exam is an open book, 40 question, multiple choice exam. A score of 67% is required to pass and you will have 1.5 hours to take it.

Our eLearning course, Essentials of LIHTC classes A through F prepare you for our HCM-TC designation exam. This exam is an open book, 30 question, multiple choice exam. A score of 67% is required to pass and you will have 1.5 hours to take it. 

Any Zeffert Housing Compliance Manager exams will be taken in our learning management site. Once you pass the exam your designation will generate immediately. 

The HCCP is administered by Zeffert & Associates, but grading and notification is handled by the National Association of Home Builders. For in person exam, results are sent within 6 weeks of the date your exam arrives at the NAHB office in Washington DC. The results will be sent from NAHB to the email you registered with when taking the HCCP exam. For the online exam, results generate immedietly however are not guaranteed until you receive your final results email from NAHB which will be sent within 10 business days of taking the online exam.
